Three Qualifications Are Required For Aluminum Profile Mold Opening Customization

The production process of industrial aluminum profiles before forming is actually a kind of customized aluminum profiles, but more commonly used in the market become conventional aluminum profiles. The current aluminum profile opening customization actually refers to the customization of profiles with unconventional sections. Conventional aluminum profiles can be formed by extrusion only, but there are many processes in the early stage of opening and customizing aluminum profiles, because customized profiles are special and unique. What problems should be paid attention to in the production of such profiles? Today we will talk about three issues that need attention:
First, the customized mold for aluminum profile opening must be qualified. The customized mold for mold opening is high precision tool steel. Because the mold needs to have very high wear resistance. The mould is required to have large rigidity, light weight, high surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Some aluminum alloy profiles with complex shapes and difficult machining require cold extrusion technology to be easily processed.
Second, the raw materials of customized aluminum profiles must be qualified. At present, the raw materials of industrial aluminum profiles are generally 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, and some are 6061 aluminum alloy. However, in order to save costs, many manufacturers add recycled aluminum into pure aluminum, melt it into alloy, and then extrude it. In this way, the surface of the aluminum profile produced is not different, but its service life is particularly short. Therefore, the raw materials of profiles must be qualified to ensure that the customized aluminum profiles are qualified!
Third, the surface treatment of customized aluminum profiles must be qualified. The surface treatment of aluminum profiles is generally anodic oxidation. Conventional anodizing is generally silver white, but the customized opening can be any color of RAL system. Qualified surface treatment means that the oxide film thickness should meet the standard, and the color should be correct and uniform.
