Packaging Standard Of Aluminum Plate

Aluminum is widely used in our life, with excellent performance and light texture, and plays an important role in modern industry. In the actual aluminum production, aluminum is processed into aluminum plates with different thickness in order to facilitate transportation and use. Because aluminum has active chemical properties and is a metal easy to oxidize, strict packaging must be carried out during transportation and storage.
In order to ensure the safety of aluminum plates during transportation and storage, and to enable customers to use aluminum plates with stable quality. After several years of repeated tests, clear aluminum plate packaging standards have been formulated:
1. First, wrap the aluminum plate tightly with a layer of dense waterproof film, and carefully seal it with adhesive tape to ensure that no part of the aluminum plate is exposed to the possible moist air. At the same time, place enough desiccant inside the package. This is to ensure that the inside of the aluminum plate is dry, prevent the aluminum plate from contacting any liquid, and prevent the aluminum plate from oxidation or corrosion.
2. Wrap a layer of kraft waterproof paper outside the waterproof film. This is mainly to ensure that the weak waterproof film will not be damaged. The waterproof paper can also insulate the external moisture to a certain extent. Thick kraft paper can well insulate the temperature difference between the surface and the internal environment, avoid the condensation of water vapor on the aluminum plate due to the large temperature difference, and prevent the oxidation of the aluminum plate.
3. The kraft paper will be covered with a whole layer of corrugated paper for protection. The edges and corners of the aluminum plate will be protected with special corrugated paper. Finally, the aluminum plate and the wooden tray will be packed together with metal packing tape. Reinforce several tons of aluminum plate to prevent the aluminum plate from scattering and sliding during transportation, and avoid friction between aluminum plate and aluminum plate after fixation.
After repeated tests, this packaging method can not only effectively prevent corrosion and oxidation of aluminum plate, but also protect aluminum plate during long-distance transportation, and aluminum plate will not be deformed and scratched due to transportation.
