The first is the European standard 8080 aluminum profile, the model is MC-8-8080, and the unit weight is 5.2kg per square meter. As the name suggests, the 8080 profile is 80x80mm in section. This large-section profile is mostly used to customize some heavy workbenches, fences, equipment frames, conveyor line supports and other similar frames. Because these requirements on the bearing capacity of profiles are relatively large. Therefore, 8080 profiles are relatively used.
The second is the national standard 8080 aluminum profile, the model is MC-8-8080GF. The unit weight is 6.33kg per square meter. The GB 8080 profile is the same as the European 8080 profile. The notch is 8mm, but the shape of the notch is different, so the fittings connected with them are also different. More accurately, the set inertia and section inertia of these two profiles are also completely different, and there is a gap in bearing capacity and performance.
The 8080 aluminum profile is one of the commonly used profiles in the 80 series. In addition to the 8080, there are also 80120 aluminum profiles and 80160 aluminum profiles. The unit weight of these two profiles is 7.57kg/m, and 10kg/m are very heavy profiles, which are also widely used in frames.
